What's the point of the Zenfone 3 laser? The normal Zenfone 3 has everything it has except a higher res camera and OIS?! This company is nuts...Unless the camera downgrade and 5.5" screen are cheaper/same price as the 5.2" Zenfone 3, it's pointless!!!

now those people who complain that the phone is too big and the battery is too small can finally rest in peace with Z3Max.
For Z3 Laser, I dont understand why they need to make it since the regular Z3 have 16mp IMX298 Laser/PDAF/CAF camera. Plus the regular Z3 price is $249 while the Z3 Laser is at $268 with 13mp IMX 214 camera.
Calling it "Laser" is ridiculous since all Zenfone 3 family now have a laser focus camera.

Sony's EIS (or what they call "SteadyShot") differs from 1 product to another (Cybershot and Alpha EIS are WAY better than the same EIS applied to the Xperia series)

Back then during the Samsung Galaxy S1's era, Samsung has a wide variety of low to mid-tier devices. By the time S2 came, they made a variety of mid to upper level devices including Phablets. This continued on and on until now....
If you compare it, ASUS is trying the same thing after dumping the Padfone series and started with the first Zenfone lineups.

Asus is fantastic smartphone company.. I have been using Asus first big hit smartphone the zenfone 5 and as soon I'm done with the oneplus x I'm going back to the zenfone world
