Anonymous, 16 Jul 2016I highly doubt the V10 successor will be unveiled in August... more"LG is likely to unveil the successor to the company's V10 smartphone this September," we'll start getting more leaks, rumors and renders of it by the end of this month or early August, we'll know everything there is to know about it way before the September unveiling.

Bentham, 17 Jul 2016Really???...and how will that help? I dont think much peop... moreI think he means all the attention will be focused on the iPhone which is always the case every year love it or hate it, and everyone will neglect the V11 like it was just another similarly spec'd Android clone phone but with a weird secondary display.

Kobby , 16 Jul 2016V10 was the best phone on the planet for me. Just everythi... moreEverything except a big battery and good endurance rating lol not to mention the weak 808 which is barely better than the 801 in my phone. The design and secondary screen are the only things I like about the V10.

Mkdc, 18 Jul 2016I dont know what you are trying to say. You first seemingly... moreYou said lg should release the v 10 successor before the iphone. What I meant is that even if lg does release before iphone, who wants an iPhone will wait for the iphone as most ios users prefer to stay there. Now to release before samsung may benefit lg as they're both android handsets.

Bentham, 17 Jul 2016Really???...and how will that help? I dont think much peop... moreI dont know what you are trying to say. You first seemingly tried to counter my comment, and then you said basically the same thing i wrote using different words in your last sentence... But yes, lg is definitely choosing the wrong battle if it's chasing apple. Even android's biggest fish (samsung) is barely affecting iphone sales, so lg should focus on releasing ahead of samsung.

I hope no more image retention issue, and battery life should be increased.. at least 4000+ maH, dual camera should be at back not in front.. then make it IP68 certified..

Mkdc, 17 Jul 2016Lg is doing it all wrong this year. They should do like sam... moreReally???...and how will that help? I dont think much people planning to buy an iPhone will be willing to settle for an lg.And with note 7 coming out soon........?? Good luck lg. I think lg wastes too much time . For a less popular company they should take a page from samsung's book and try to be the first out.

I was going to get a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge +, but now I'll wait and see the V10 successor and what they add to it, a bigger battery I hope. I have the LG G3 and battery life is a problem.

I've been using the LG V10 Dual SIM since February. After travelling with this phone, these are the areas of improvement.
1. Needs at least 5-7 hours screen-on-time, 18 hours standby time.
2. Aggressive battery management like Sony's Stamina modes.
3. UI isn't smooth, slows down at times. Nova helps here.
4. Notification LEDs, front and back.
5. Dual front speakers, front+rear firing like LG G4s, that can play up to 90dB without distortion. It's currently 90dB with distortion.
6. Hybrid - Phase detect & laser auto-focus.
7. Low light front camera f/1.7 with manual controls for stills/video.
8. Dual SIMs should be default - No more single SIMs. Save on development resources.

AnonD-483458, 17 Jul 2016Here's what I would love to see and would make me almost ce... moreAgree with your comments, plus I'd want wireless charging, and fingerprint unlock. I love the wireless charging on my G4 and when the G5 did not have it, that was a deal breaker since I have 5 wireless chargers all over my office, home, and auto.
Please LG, make a phone with a removable battery, wireless charging and fingerprint reader.

Lg is doing it all wrong this year. They should do like samsung and push the release of v10 successor much earlier than iphone plus releases.

AnonD-523334, 17 Jul 2016Thanks for your suggestion Bro. But I am not talking about ... moreWell, if you were looking flagship-grade phablet, there are only limited options out there since most flagship-grade phones only between 5.2-5.5, and so far never bigger than 5.7inch. well, but u can hope v20 or note7 might up to ur expectation :)

Here's what I would love to see and would make me almost certainly buy it, a 4000+ mAh removable battery, rugged design, 5.7 in screen, hi-fi DAC, would love to see only 1080p screen for better battery, snap 821, 6Gb RAM, good cameras, unlockable bootloader.
Here is what would piss me off and make me not want to buy it, 3000 mAh or less battery, G5 friends, no DAC, huge always on screen, and the ultimate deal breaker, no removable battery.
