Google's standalone VR headset project has been shut down

According to a new report from Recode, the standalone VR headset project at Google has been scrapped. If you recall, the Wall Street Journal had reported earlier this year that the Mountain View, California-based company is working on a VR headset that doesn't rely on a smartphone, PC, or a gaming console to function.

    I hope Google makes a USB-C (USB 3.1) VR headset, just like LG's 360 VR headset. Only better, with metal arms instead of plastic. So users can bend the arms in order to fit their head better.
