"HP has finally decided to unveil its official pricing for the Elite x3 Windows 10 smartphone in the US."

Can you say clearly if it's the real Windows 10 that I have on my hybrid-ultrabook, and laptop, or Windows Phone OS????
How many times shall I ask you GSMA?
Or making it misty is the part of the game?

This handset is specifically designed with enterprise users in mind which is capable of running x86 apps through a virtualization technology by HP. It also has continuum support. So both hardware wise and software wise, the price is justifiable. It's cheaper than some unlocked mobile devices.

Anonymous, 19 Jul 2016How is it useful when the platform is essentially dead? Ho... morePeople will not understand what MS is trying to achieve here. MS is pitching Windows as a single OS, a service which can be used in multitude of hardwares like PC, Laptops, Tablets, Phones, VR devices which has a common core. Here the consumer using couple of these devices will have a same experience with all those devices. The developer also can create a single app which can be deployed on all these devices. Windows 10 Mobile market may be small but the PC, tablet 2 in 1 is bigger than anyone else. Microsoft was late to the mobile party and thats why it is suffering now but this is the best possible strategy it has taken to take on the mobile competition. Developer sooner rather than later will be enticed to develop for Windows 10(not Windows 10 Mobile particularly) which will be deployed to mobile too.

Talking about the mobile itself, Windows 10 Mobile is a fantastic system and is getting polished and updated at a fast pace. I use it for everyday use and find it great.

So if you understand the strategy, like the system than stay with MS/Windows else you can leave and enjoy other platforms.

You know what else had less than 1% market share? Windows mobile, blackberry OS, symbian, etc. I wonder what happen to them...
