Note Edge user here (most expensive phone they made),.. android five from them broke so much functionality of 'the edge' (clearly didn't matter to them), removing things like the camera using the edge screen for controls allowing full screen view for composing whilst placing the shutter button in a logical and useful location. (In fact my phone lost ability to focus reliably, being eighteen year digital photgraphy junkie, having worked in high end camera shops and being quite 'tech aware',.. nearly impossible to force the unit to focus and therefor useless camera, so no big deal taking away the edge functionality i guess, but-) sad as the phone was a costly premium over standard Note 4...
Software updates? Sure,.. still waiting for Android 6 (and security updates).
Sammy don't care: they know if they drag out the upgrade process and keep shitty software experience on last years models, people will likely upgrade: ESPECIALLY FLAGSHIP USERS.
They rolled out Android six to newest models first (incentive to buy new phone for some), and cheaper units, and even though I was in one of the first territories to get the Note Edge, I am in one of the last territories to be offered Marshmallow by Samsung.
Not even on sammobile webpage yet (ROM for Australia)
Whilst I love directional antennaes and low SAR rating on Samsung phones, I would be hard pressed to buy their 'flagships' again.
Probably worst flagship phone experience I have had (with regards to useful features);
Things like the custom profiling of sound for headphones: try and redo the config..! (Heaven forbid I buy new headphones, ever, whilst owning one of their devices.. ) the software is broken,.. they do not care.
Yes I know how to flash ROMs.
Doesn't mean the average user experience on a Samsung device will match that of HTC or others...
So whilst I may not have an opinion with regards to the comment you were responding too, making out that a person who complains isn't spending enough for their complaint to have any merit is crazy. Why attack someone for having an opinion, based off their experience?
Oh, because it is different to yours?
This is why we try to live, vicariously (through others experiences) when scavenging the internet for information.
Would be kinda impossible for any one consumer to have the same world of knowledge, through individual eperience, as we can have through taking onboard what others might say.
Might even save us some trouble...

First of all, worst brand on earth? Without Samsung most of the tech you see today won't exist buddy. Poor update track record? Not poor, but simply slow. Gsmarena articles on the news section are full with news about Samsung updating various of its devices to the latest Marshmallow. No metal build? I guess you haven't seen all of the galaxy. Hint, Galaxy C series. All phone made from glass on the front panel. You can't argue there. The midrange is pretty popular due to low pricing too. The front Samsung logo your problem? Fyi, in certain market the logo is ommited like in Japan and probably in China too. Look at Apple without a logo in front, still have huge bezel, bigger than any phone I had seen. Micro usb is still relevant, because usb c still can't be used to its full potential without proper software. Usb C need marshmallow for full optimization. Not to mention the availability of usb c cable is very limited and expensive thus making it even more irrelevant yet in samsung's opinion. Samsung after sales service is better than any other android brand. Compare it with Apple then you simply hating again.

No metal build
Fingerprints magnet glass panel
High pricing
Putting a ugly front Samsung logo which takes up space and resulting in huge bezels
Still uses micro USB on flagship like S7

Well of course Apple would use tsmc to manufacture their chipsets because of the decline of Apple products. They don't need Samsung to help them make 10 million units a month because they're not selling as much as they used to. Eventually they'll be able to make their own products in house selling at what I'm going to get 3 to 4 million units per month I know this is going to make a lot of fans very pissed off but the whole world knows they're on the decline. It's been showing for months if not years now.

Do you know about the OS called TIZEN OS Created and Developed by SAMSUNG it self.?.
So that means there is a software side in SAMSUNG and I believe they will be able to pull it up or enhance their own OS if they will focus on it.

Not surprising. The Samsung A9 underperformed the TSMC A9 in tests last year. Glad to have the TSMC A9 chip in my 6S!

I'll wait until 2020 and the 5nm chip manufacturing process. Apparently, it will be 4 time as powerful and use 4 times less power. Take this with the usual pinch of salt.

And that was the whole point, there isn't anything wrong to ask help from people who does certain things better than you, thats why Samsung pick android from the beginning, thry couldn't build competitive OS by themself.
