Going by the comments it seems Samsung has gotten WAY better at updating their phones especially when it comes to monthly security patch updates.

Western countries getting security updates so late but getting OS updates fast.
My Samsung devices gets security updates every month before 7th. For example I got July security update on 5th July on A5 2016 but western countries got android 6.0 but I'm stuck on 5.1 =/

I get the update last this week from Philippines. but there is one thing that I couldn't agree with the update. whenever I used the finger print as a security on unlocking the phone it isn't working well and it routes me to a different option to unlock the phone using the secondary password or passcode.
I already tried changing the settings on my device but still not working. the phone wouldn't unlock with the fingerprint anymore and keeps asking for the back-up passcode/word. and take note the phone was properly updated.

S6 can't be updated via Kies. Samsung Smart Switch can update S6.

Would like that service from Sony. Xperia M4 Aqua got Marshmallow yesterday but with April security level. Does anybody know if it is much work to make a security update?
