Report says Xiaomi expects Mi Notebook's shipments to cross 1 million

There have already been reports that Xiaomi will unveil a laptop - dubbed Mi Notebook - alongside the Redmi Pro smartphone on July 27. Now, a new report out of China is suggesting that the company is expecting total shipments of the device to cross the 1 million mark.

    12.5 inch gaming? Is that some sort of tablet imitation with a keyboard?
    I bought a few gaming laptops by now, and they all featured the same things: proper video card (nvidia/amd) and 15 inch screen. And that screen is the limiting point, I prefer 24+ inches when playing games. 12.5 gaming laptop? No, thanks.

        Want this now. Cant wait. Wish it is cheap but Windows 10 and Intel Core i7 maybe made it expensive and higher than 500$ if npt it will be the MateBook Killer.

              Wasn't too pleased with the way the all-aluminum screen bezel and hinge looked in one picture, it would be prettier if they used the MBP color-scheme (which has a black bezel and hinge).

              The speaker holes at the bottom of the device could have also used a prettier grill and better concealment (like MBP).

              But then this device should be very far from the price of a MBP, so it can actually be tremendous value and incredible build quality for the price.
              It just so happens I *may* be in the market for a device just like this just to run Linux.

              Top things I value (and others at work also value):
              - Upgradable RAM
              - Upgradable Disk (no non-stardard connector BS like Apple or soldered stuff like others)
              - Gigabit Ethernet port
              - Coreboot / Libreboot would be the icing in the cake (libreboot simply won't happen in such a recent Intel CPU...)
              - Webcam with physical cover and an hard switch to the microphone(s).

              - No bundled Windows 10 please, just adds cost and I really don't want it (not even for free!).
