WP7 is really not impressive especially with all the delay in release. It seems like a loser next to Android.

oh dear, I was expecting Microsoft to come up with an awesome and amazing UI but they completely fail IMHO... only three colors (blue, red and green) on theyr buttons and the buttons and everything system related just flat 2D, no attempt to make it look beautiful, no eye candy anywhere... just boring... too bad, I was really looking foreward to the release...

The phone looks very good and clean. Like the design, but not the camera-circle.

Loos colourful and its display concept is new. However 1 line per menu item will reduce usability like MS just want to show that it can do kinetic scrolling.

Wow,I never write comments, but i truly felt i had to ,this time. I happen to be born in Czech republic,so i understand the entire comment of this review. But all I have to say- well Windows entirely copied IPhones approach - and that"s all folks. The squares you can organize by holding down the button and moving around and placing them....????The guy who does this review says is REVOLUTIONARY !.LOL Have you ever tried playing with an I Phone-same thing! Please..!!!!.Can't wait for iPhone 5.As much as people might not like it-it leads all the way. The ones that don't see the resemblance are just in denial.PEACE!

Stuff don't think too much of the N8. The new OS looks slow and cluttered.

LG has already released for sale a month a handset called Optimus. This set i called Opimus 7. Probably to differentiate the OS.

Oz, 25 Sep 2010Why are people making comments about iOS or Android, come o... moreObviously you havent sold enuff wimdows mobile phone if you think the only issue windowa mobile had was sluggishness. How bout unintuitive UI? Outdated hardware(while apple and android were pushing capacitive screens windows mobile was relying on those awful resistive screens til the hd2 came out). All phones have issues of course but being a tech at vzw the only thing that comes close to windows mobile in terms of technical issues are blackberries.
WP7 looks decent, but decent is not enough to pull android users away from their customization options, or iOS users from their fluid UI.

Anonymous, 25 Sep 2010why not make windows xp run on a phone?
whith todays cellp... moreYou've gotta be kidding me!
Already now, WM6.5 is in many ways a more powerful cellphone OS than XP ever could be on such a little device. What good would it do to have a desktop operating system running on such a small handset?
Such nonsense posts / requests always seem to come from people who do not seriously use their phones for anything other than playing a game!
As for WP7:
In the video, it looks more exciting than I thought initially when the first screenshots were flying through the www. If I wouldn't already have a quite powerful phone (HD2), I would have looked forward getting one as soon as they'd become available.
