Second, big screen consume more battery than small screen battery. So when you claim that S6 and S6 edge you should also mentioned that both those device has much smaller screen than XA Ultra. Plus Samsung's QHD display has 60% less subpixel than other QHD LCD display, which helps them save battery because they have significantly less subpixel . So practically RGB 1080p display is almost equally sharp as QHD pentile display. Go see Anandtech's One plus 3's review, they said the pretty much same thing about pentile display.
So there you go, with smaller screen and less subpixel helps samsung phones achieve batter battery life. It's absolutely atrocious to put this 2700mAh in a 6 inch display phone but it also impressive that they are able to achieve this battery rating with this small battery.

All Sony's phone in 2016 is disappointing so far mainly because of their crap battery life. As a fan I'm really mad that instead of improving they are deteriorating their battery life. Gorgeous phone with ultra crappy battery life.

Sony, change to AMOLED screens PRONTO!!!! You have Bluetooth earphones with OLED screens, for crying out loud! You can't do it with your phones?

he might be dont even have his first smartphone. not like me... always change 4 phone in 1 years. if 8 hours is good , my A7 2015 wouldn't let me give to other. its S615 result show 10 hours , but will nearly die at every 4pm in the evening , 24% left .
i need 5000mah , like lenovo P1 . which can even turn on hotspot until late night 12am.

I said the smartphone only have a 2700mah battery and gets a 55h rating is very good for a battery of that size and the xiaomi note 2 which have a 3060mah battery but gives only 49h rating..its your choice to agree or disagree just like most of the people who don't know much about smartphone but want to comment like a smartphone expert.

Before sony is king of battery life now they are one of the worst. And this is from z, z2 and z5 user. Hope they changed their design priorities
