      Im a Nokia guy(at this time!he hee)but I really loved Sonim design and spect. remembering me the early nokia rugged phones(5140,5100 and 5210).My only wish is to let people at nokia to produce this kind of phone and not just for the megapixel rat race...

                I've never heard about IP68 rating before.
                Thumbs-up Sonim! Definitely at the Top of the league for rugged phones.
                Any plan for UK and Germany release?

                  yah dude.. why do you still need to provide a Phone that can go through under water? do they Already have a Cell site established UNDER THE SEA where we can use it? think about it lol

This means... moreMaybe not talk, but try SMS - imagine if you are a researcher regarding marine life, and you find something worrying. Instead of noting the coordinates, resurfacing, and getting to a radio - you can send a SMS with the coordinates and message straight to your base station, and continue on. If it does work, the marine professions will benefit greatly.

                                      This is for outdoor use, hiking, climbing, rafting, rain, snow, battlefield etc, not for desk jockeys. :-) Motorola Defy is almost the same as far as resistence is concerned (and it's an Android with better specs), however the Sonim looks cooler. :-)
