Alien , 24 Jul 2016What happens if by any chance you have a power blackout? No... moreIf you live in a developing country where power blackouts are a reoccurring issue then yeah I see your point, the other two is based on how careful or negligent the person is with their device. Flashing from an SD card is nice but only nerds care about things like that, not the average person which the vast majority of the market caters to. If you have access to a reliable 4G network and cloud storage options then there's no point in using a tiny little card that is slow, unreliable and susceptible to failing.

AnonD-463876, 25 Jul 2016Lol the Samsung haters are coming outta the woodwork and ar... moreI, personally, am not a "Samsung hater". I've owned the S4, Note 4, S6 Edge, Note 5 and currently the S7 - and I also currently also have an iPhone 6s. I've owned LGs, HTCs, various iOS, Windows, amd Blackberry phones. I am a smartphone "geek". Therefore, I pledge no allegiance or bias.

Just because someone questions a phone or is disappointed by rumors or actual truths does not make them a hater.

I love Samsung. I think their Galaxy phone performance really stepped up with the Note 5. In fact, the Note 5's performance was amazing enough to turn the Galaxy line into daily driver.

"I'm sure Samsung had good reason.." - be cautious with those words. Like their good reason for yanking the SD slot on the S6? Such good reasoning in fact that they brought it back for the S7, I suppose? Be careful with the "they always have a good reason" line of thinking. These phone lines are evolving and in the evolution process, manufacturers tweak things in large and minor way - in attempt to find the magic recipe for their brand. Mistakes in judgement are made many times, that is how the manufacturer learns for future generations of their phones. Not all decisions made my manufacturers are divinely inspired.

All that being said, the latest batch of rumors (if they are legitimate) have left me disappointed. Based on following the evolution of the Galaxy line. Of course, full assessment/judgement will be held until August 2nd on. I will say, however, that the latest leaks and rumors have left me in a place where I wouldn't feel comfortable pre-ordering before the announcement (as various new outlets are reporting may happen).

By the way, no phone has ever lasted me a full day. Ever. That's why I recharge frequently throughout the day.

Lol the Samsung haters are coming outta the woodwork and are in full nerd force, you're all acting like they included a puny 3000 mAh battery like OP did in the 1+3. Knowing Samsung they had a good reason for going with a 3500 mAh battery, probably bc they had to sacrifice some space to accommodate the new Iris scanner and S Pen. Rest assured Samsung optimized the hell out of it and should last you a full day easily. I'll be waiting to see what it scores on this sites endurance rating tests, and so should the trolls before mouthing off lol
