Thats actually a very good price for the bang from a top quality delivering company such as Sony....
Not intetested in their mediatek powered devices though, but for most users its good...

crapple it is, 27 Jul 2016man why did they put such a big battery .. i think 1600 mah... moreSony's 2500,2700 mAH battery with stamina mode, good optimisation is better than many Chinese junk phone s with 3500-4000 mAh batteries. Still would have loved more battery capacity and SD 652 processor for XA ultra.

The Xiaomi Mi Max sacrifice the Sunlight Contrast ratio to achieve 108h in the battery test. Furthermore, the Mi Max Neutral setting to not quite live up to its name, the white and gray colors have a blue tint. Yet, the reviewer found that the color accuracy improves if you push the white balance slider towards Warm. The white balance improves quickly (but magenta goes off).
Meanwhile, Xperia XA Ultra provide the 6 inch screen with good brightness and offers high-contrast and great viewing angle. It is comfortable for reading when you go the other way, push the brightness slider to minimum, the display put out 6.7 nits low enough that you can use it in the middle of the night. Apart from this, although XA Ultra color reproduction is not perfect, but more accurate screens in this price range are rare.
Sunlight contrast radio
Xperia XA Ultra = 2.906 (within 3.0)
Xiaomi Mi Max = 1.99 (within 2.0)
Conclusion:
The XA Ultra have good sunlight legibility. Unfortunately the Xiao Mi Max is better stay at interior.

Already preordered my xa ultra a week ago. Was starting to get worried about what happened to it, since B&H said they'd receive it on the 24th, but now, the status finally changed to "In Stock". Very anxious, seems like a beautiful phone with a great selfie camera :)
