so that means sammy was lying ? when they said release on same day as revealed. sad that sammy hired so many apple ppl to do their work, bc everything just gets worse and worse for sammy.

My theory is Samsung ran out of innovative ideas. So they took out sooner of the features, listened to those who clamoured for thin, glass back, and put in that sealed battery. We now know taking out the memory expansion backfired, and Samsung took a nose dive with sales last year.
Now Samsung is bringing back features very slowly just so they have something.
Looks like the Note7 is just an S7 Edge with an iris scanner and S Pen. I'd rather have the IR remote control function than the iris scanner. Removable battery is something to me since i could have extended 10,000mAh battery and not worry about power for the entire day.

Fanboys, fan boys everywhere... Because you need to be a fanboy to be exciTed for this super expensive phone with lowly specs.
My Note 4 was cheaper, released 2 years ago and more impressive than this for god's sake. It has 10000 mah battery (battery NEVER dies), it's my only remote in home (IR blaster), and its specs are only a tiny bit worse (just 1 GB less ram, very impressive SoC to this day, excellent camera to this day).
I don't mind that Note 7 is expensive Ι mind that Samsung grew lazy and has stopped enticing it's user Base. Like how Apple releases "just another iphone", Samsung releases "just another Note" these days.
It bothers me, I used to look up to Samsung even when people were against her (especially those silly goofs who wanted a metallic body)...

Note7 is getting announced soon and the note4 is still on lollipop
They focused so much on india that they left other versions even 910G on lollipop
No security updates either

The Price difference between the Note 7 or S7 edge is just going to make the S7 edge more popular,unless Samsung do release a Flat screen version of the Note 7 a much cheaper version,like to see how the Stylus on the edge screen will work on the Note Edge Screen,like to what chip version we do get in Europe if the Snapdragon 820 or 821 its like just releasing the S7 Edge Plus

Rather disappointing.
It will probably be a great phone but i don't see why people would choose thr note 7 over the s7 edge...you get an extra 0.2 inch in screen size but weaker specs :(
I'll stick to my s7 edge (which 5 months later is still the best phone i ever used)...

So much for the rumours about a bigger screen, massive internal storage and 6 GB RAM. Unless I'm missing something, I cannot see a major upgrade that stands out from the Note 5 or S7 and S7 Edge.
