T-Mobile sends out July security patch to Galaxy Note 4 and Note Edge

Phone was fine until the update, now it just either keeps restarting and sometimes doesn't even load at all or crashes when it is running. Time to ROOT it me thinks..

what does this security patch do this mobile ? Improve benchmarks , battery life , ram management ? can sm1 tell me ?
