      this should have been the redmi pro not the mini.and the mini should have used the sd 625. man xiaomi your going on the wrong track with that mediatek chipset.hope you will learn your lesson

            Excellent. I am happy that screen size is reduced a bit. It will be perfect for me. Small size= less battery power consumption. And Qualcomm is my favourite.

              Why does every company takes "mini" in wrong direction they just just reduce the size not specs, if you want to lower the specs dont call it mini call it lite or lower edition or someyhing like that but not mini, it even misguide alot of people

                          I guess I have to postpone purchasing Xiaomo Redmi Note 3 and wait for this one. I hope it also has huge battery capacity.

                            AnonD-176529, 02 Aug 2016First of all, Mega Pixels play little role in the camera qu... moremega pixel count doesnt play a "little role" like you think it is an important part of the mixture its not like individual pixel size and mega pixel count exists independently, they are essentially one and the same the more mega pixels you have it means naturally the pixel sizes are smaller, higher mega pixels means better picture resolution(more details captured) as well as video resolution thats why we dont see 3mp cameras being able to run 4k, even the s7's auto focus takes into account pixel count since it uses every pixel to focus with

It just indicates the size of your photo. The real quality depends upon lens, sensor size, aperture, and individual pixel size. So OEMs are concentrating on things that matter rather than blind MP race.

                                      Can anyone gimme explaination about why phones nowadays use smaller megapixels on camera ? Like samsung who use to use the 16MP but in s7 they use 12MP instead ... and all the new phones i looked only use 12 MP and 13MP ... is it the new 13MP/12MP which make the pictures much better than the 16MP ?
