Android 6.0 Marshmallow cracks 15%, others shrink slowly

02 August, 2016
Marshmallow is still to top the combined numbers of Jelly Bean and it's almost out of time - Nougat is just around the corner.

Why everyone is running for an update. Even after 10 yrs IOS feature will be less than kitkat. They are not crying. They are happy with what they have. Also now update will not bring any major feature. Android is already too much upgraded. Now they only need Desktop PC support with driver of ATI REDEON 480X 4GB HBM MEMORY.

I like Android more, but this is where ios is better. Manufacturers say that certain hardware on 'x' device is not capable of handling the latest OS version. Then a month later the same manufacturer release a device with sprinkled down specs compared to 'x' which comes preloaded with the latest version of android. This doesn't make any sense.

4.4 is still very good version and have many features including features from different UI.
People who use ios always waiting for update, becuase ios still behind Android in terms of functionality and usability, when you try to use something more, then calls, watup and browser (lucking equaliser, having laggy itunes etc)

                          This is getting pathetic Google.

But I do think that security patches are more important, just like having a Windows 7 PC with latest security updates. Thats what counts.

Manufacturers just don't care enough about the cheaper phones. Midrangers get the latest update almost a year after the launch and then comes the next one and they are not getting it. I don't even mean cheap phones. I mean the 250 to 500€ phones. But the pricier phones get the latest updates within a month.

there is no point to launch new OS when it is not going to widely be adopted.

I am an android user, but wish my os can be updated as prompt as iOS
