What irks me about Apple with its iPhone is that it dead set on attaining the slimmest form factor at the expense of battery. Look what they did with the iPhone 6 and 6s. Just awful battery. We don't need anorexic slim phone, it is diminishing return and just plain dumb. Ugh, a phone that's there all day, and believe us, nothing wrong with being slightly thicker but with bigger battery capacity.

Why does iphone need a 3 GB RAM...its ok for it to run on 1 GB RAM... ifag users can explain it... their iphones run smooth on 1 GB RAM

AnonD-540746, 04 Aug 2016I used iPhone before so I know about their super performanc... moreapple can make quad core but they wouldn't because it will directly increase the price of the iPhone, as long as they can utilized the hardware using the software, they will not move on to quad core. by the end of day, apple still apple, large profit margin always come first. imho, I doubly they will increase the ram neither.

Good news indeed if it's true. I think that's what everybody is waiting for. Hopefully they will also bump up the screen to 5" at least for the smaller version.

Apple FAIL to optimize the iOS further.
following like android, need to increase more ram to support the HEAVY iPhone OS.
and has been using 750p resolution for iphone? using 3gb ram should able to support 1080p to 2K resolution easily.
but iPhone is still the 750p.
