I had a Dell Streak 5" in 2010, when all phones had 3.5" screens,
then I got a Galaxy Note1 in 2011, when all phone screens were
4". In 2014 I got a Huawei Ascend Mate2 with a 6.1" screen when
phones were "breaking" the 5" barrier.
It's a choice. I don't like small screen phones, you like small screen
phones. I'm just glad there isn't a one size fits all for phones.

Would be nice... but I`m afraid this is like S7mini. Just rumors, nothing else.
I think there are more people waiting for a smaller but powerful device... but who`s gonna do first... and WHEN???

As a matter of fact, you are free to root and unlock your phone as you wish without voiding warranty -- using CM or other ROM is included.

The OnePlus X had an old Processor so when the OnePlus3 Mini does have the SD820, it would not fall under this "denial"

Well, to me i would love a mini OnePlus 3 but not in the way of the OnePlus X. But because the price of the OnePlus 3 is just damn low compared to the other flagships. And because of the specs of the mini 3 listed on the picture/screenshot i see that they are doing well with the specs. But if they want to do it super fine with an Xtra cheap phone; they could restart selling the One or make an 3GB RAM version of the OnePlus 2.
I would love that very very well.
But to make a long story short, OnePlus does it good but must restauring their service cause China is not so close to the Netherlands or the States.
