Way back in 90s when cell phones came to market, Motorola was leader. 2000s was an era of Nokia. Blackberry making its impacts in second half.
Enter iPhone towards end of decade.
Today Moto, Nokia, Blackberry are nearly out. Apple leads.
Who knows someone else will come in and Apple will join the group of Moto,Nokia and blackberry.

A gap of 6 months appx. It is pretty much time when iPhone 7 news were making rounds. Hence, any smart buyer would like to wait for latest iteration OR wait for 6s prices be slashed.
On other hand S7 has its own internal versions- active,edge and so on. Again if we take individual 6s version as against s7 series, it is still worth competition.
Please understand, I am not against Samsung. Only thing is rather than flooding the market with number of series,they should pitch single unit in each category with complete focus on user requirements.

An innovation which changed complete industry cannot be ignored. Today Samsung and LG may be leaders in manufacturing of touch screens, but it was apple who showed the way of using it on phones.
And yes, what has a beginning,has an end too. Someday apple will end too.

Iphones are just priced higher because of the software. If Apple allows any company to use its software or patents it just as Google does then it will be great if Apple comes on top. Apple became historic at the time of Steve Jobs but these days it is not so innovative.

Samsung should stop making too much model...apple is good because it is a good brand and they just make two devices...but samsung makes many model like a3 a5 a7 a9 a9pro....j7 j5 j3 j2 ...s7 s7edge note 7 edge....why too many...the dont make the midrange devices with good buil with good color and metareal....samsung should stop doing this...

Achieved huge numbers.
But apple does it with just 2 (may be 3 this year) models.
End of the day, apple phones are most replicated and can anybody tell me replica of Samsung and popular?
Samsung is definitely lead manufacturer but not innovator. They still pay royalties to Nokia for using their phone related patents.
Innovation doesn't mean doing something weird - Samsung edge series.

no i want a3 but a3 has a low specs! i thought a4 would be my next phone! I'm hoping that a2 has a j7 2015 specs and 4.7 inch with gorilla glass 4 but not at the back too like a3 it makes the price more bigger! 2gb ram and 720x1280 display plus plastic back cover but metal sides and a removable battery with 2700mah battery!

Seems like Samsung want to release a bunch of A series. IMO , they should release only 3 to 4 devices.

I don't get it with their A series.
A8 is now shrinking.
A4 is getting big?
They should rather finally create some 4,3 - 4,7" high end device rather than another 5,5" trash phone with low specs hidden behind some nice case

Samsung you keep on releasing smartphones of different models and ditch them at the time of software support ! For example note 3 on 5.0 not even 5.1.1 !
