I dun care if it's high or low end, the design (one aspect) is still important to consumers and these are not appealing at all. why compare to the x10 which has a very appealing design, others include iphone 4, galaxy s, N8, N7, desire hd, milestone etc

These are pretty cool devices. They aren't ment to be high powered monsters like most of the new stuff coming out. It's annoying to see people base on them becuase they aren't loaded with Snapdragons, insane RAM counts, and AMOLED high resoultion screens. With Motorolla cranking out as many lower end droid phones as it can is a great move. It makes it so that anyone can have a very capable device. Phones like these are geared more towards teens more then anything. High spec phones are expensive, and people tend to shy away from them. Things like this are great. I like all of the designs, but I'll stick to with my new and amazing N8

theres a reason why these phones are bland and run eclair.
because moto doesnt want focus to be taken away from Droid X and Droid 2. its a business strategy. besides by making bland, low spec phones they can capture the low end android market.
