i think the drop test was inappropriate because moto z is not protected with a shield like the s7 active it should have been xforce which has protective shield

Sagittarius, 07 Aug 2016As if moto z force is designed to be dropped every single time. I'm just saying it would've been nice to know how many drops it would take for the screen to shatter, not just become defective.

Its "Moto Z Force", not Moto Z.both r different.
Therefore its a perfect battle.Moto Z Force vs S7 Active.

Few observations to be pointed out.
1- Moto Z is in its original body / skin, while S7 active is a version of S7 with additional protective layers on to it.
2- original S7 is at the bottom of the list,if anyone observed.
In short Moto Z is still a better performer.
For a fair comparison, it should be Moto Z vs S7 or it should be Moto Z active ( if Moto makes one) vs S7 active.

It might be durable in drops, hense the bulky design. But put it in water, see if s7a survives that (SPOILER: it doesn't).
