They should switch to OLED and get it over with, I'm not a fan and prefer LCD but I know the market is about to shift entirely to it soon, especially after the iPhone releases the iPhone 7S/8.

That's not surprising at all. Cheap build quality meets ugly design and big bezels with software buttons. The dumbest module phone idea ever and uggggllly and non fuctional UI (worse even than Huawei!). No waterproofing like s7, not awesome sound like Htc 10. Bad, washed out display with bleeding and bad blacks (yet has high resolution). The best camera and the best camera UI on a phone. That's the G5

A phone which was a same cost as flagship Galaxy S7/iPhone 6S but made very cheap and advertised as "aluminum unibody" but you can't even feel it a "quality" phone? You must be joking...:) lol I don't also believe that how they advertised as "flagship base", as it most likely a "midranger" with a price of "flagship" IMO.

The g5 is a quality phone at least lg are trying something different most other manufacturers stick to the same ideas and the build and design may not look like anything special but actually holding the phone is a different matter it feels solid and not like your going to drop it and the UI is actually quite fluid the fact that it now has an app draw is good as well, it won awards at wmc and has won awards from which and the lg range has won a lot so there are a lot of people who completely disagree with people who criticise before actually trying because they love to complain about a company trying something different or are biased come on people give credit where it is due and the camera is superb

LG touchscreen on G5 was so bad! It's so soft! You certainly could hit the screen by enough pressure.

Poor screen has been going on for a while in LG's phones.
The UI is bad and LG has had bad UI for a while.
I'd be more worried about the hardware issues that these LG phones have.
Stay away from LG phones!
Other LG products can be good.

If you want a phone that bleeds more light then the sun go for the LG G5. The screens are pretty crappy and more like a cheap Huawei

Ah and that's how LG manages to sell the inventory of the worst flagship this season. Apart from the camera, everything has taken a step in the wrong direction. Poor battery life, weak audio, inaccurate bluish screen, a poor UI and to top it all of, metal body that doesn't feel like metal. Kudos LG, I didn't think you'd go from average to the worst Tier-1 manufacturer in 3 years.
