My cou... morethat's becuz 1GB ram is not actually enough to play well pokemon go, i have a Gxy A3 with 1GB ram (live in south america) and it doesn't stand any other app (not even music player most of the time) pokemon go can be play with 1gb ram but 1.5 at least is optimal
to the topic, grand prime was a big hit at the time so making a successor isn't crazy (specially the way samsung does things)
let's wait for the specs ^_^

Grand Prime already had successor that's J5/J5 2016 and On5/On5 Pro.
I don't see the point adding another phone with identical looks and closely similar specs.
It's just adding more confusion..

Two of my relatives have a grand prime, one has the original and the other has the value edition(which came with lollipop), and they both lag like crazy. And my phone(honor 4c) is cheaper then both, and is a beast for that price, and better than the grand prime in every single way.

everyone, pls read full article first, they meant last grand prime not the new grand prime though, can't even believe samsung will give more than 2 GB RAM

Aren't the Galaxy J5 better? Why even bother making Grand Prime 2? I simply don't get Samsung. I thought they stopped making Grand series years ago just like the Mega series.

The article says "the Galaxy Grand Prime was powered by.." 5"screen, 1GB RAM etc. It's noting the specs of the PREVIOUS GRAND PRIME. Nothing is mentioned about the specs of new phone outside of 5" screen. Period.

Why are Samsung & all these big brand name companies making all these low end speces phones to third world & developing countries instead of providing a decent speces entry level phone & lowering their prices since it's now cheaper to make one, is it just their strategy to saturate the markets?
