I *really* want this to work because I really love the desktop version of Firefox along with its addons, professional approach to design, innovation and etc. but this beta is pretty unusable on the Milestone. It's heavy on the internal memory, heavy on loading times, laggy, leaks memory, and so on. Even if it was lightning fast, I need to uninstall important software so it fits in my Android memory.

So really, if I feel like looking into it, skip into next version.

I have a HTC Desire and I wanted to try this.. but ITS SO FREAKING HUGE that I can't delete enought apps to install it. Pretty epic failure on the Mozilla side. Anyhow I use the Dolphin HD and all works so well on it that I dont't even need a nother browser.

Anonymous, 09 Oct 2010android sucks full of bugs and it will vanish in the coming... moreNo, you are wrong, Android is the only OS that will survive into the futera and all "bugs" will be fixed as the Android OS is quickly evolving.
Windoes Phone 7 and iOS and Symbian will all be "dead" within 3 years. MeeGo can maybe become the only contender, but it still hasn´t been "born" yet. Both Android and MeeGo are based on Linux, the most stable OS of all.
