[deleted post]i am workign for an app dev company, and you have to trust me Bada OS
is released prematurely :(
We tried putting some people for Bada apps, but after some trials we discontinued it.
I can give you an example how bada is tough for developers, there is scroll facility for a text box
which tells how good or bad Bada is.

Samsung should first fix problems with Samsung Wave S8500 and Kies before launching new phones using the Bada OS

For your information, Samsung did not launch the Bada OS to compete with the likes of Android, Windows, or Symbian, but to provide a cheaper smartphone offering to the masses. In fact, Samsung have stated that all of their high-end smartphones would be based on Android and the likes (WP7) and NOT Bada, and that Bada will be more of a "smartphone for everyone."

Many Android's and iOS's devellopers are going to Bada because the SDK is very easy to use and the OS is very good, if you want I can post here some news about it.

bada os sucks. Why samsung trying to make a os which has no promising future. They just cant compete with android, windows, symbian or even java. All of you who r going to buy wave will regret tat u brought such stupid phone. Its like u bought latest laptop running windows98. Wat u do wit so hi-tech hardware if u cant use. Bada os doesnt support multi tasking, never possible tey wil introduce voip means skype, fring is useless even no developer is interested in bada forget skype, fring. Nothing is supported in bada. Its wat just samsung makes n through to users.

apart from the confusing branding , bada devs and samsung should release great IM clients with support for multitasking abilities, would be much better if was a native app to bada

andrewaa, 08 Oct 2010I wonder why they have so poor hardware compared to origina... morethese are low range aimed at a cheaper market. They will release another wave with better specs s and name it something easy like the wave 2. The wave is one of the hottest selling handsets around atm so they want to capitalise on the success. i.e dont stop a good thing.

I wonder why they have so poor hardware compared to original wave. First wave is 10 times better and I doubt that these ones will be 10 times cheaper
