That $123 price tag may not be able to hold well against lower-tier X, M, and H ones with better components.

too weak to stand the fierce competion of the chinese companies...Asus really needs to work hard on a new 2016 basic model, this one just doesn´t cut the mustard......

Originally a Zenfone 5 user and have a very bad user experience. Although performance was not an issue, build quality is directly through the hell. 3 months after buying, mic doesn't work anymore. Then after 15 days the mic is okay automatically with slight hitch. 6 months after phone just stopped charging, then repaired it. After another month the phone just died, frying its internal ribbons and motherboard. Its one hell of an experience.

Asus have Lost its touch!! Overpriced it's latest phones and trying to follow Samsung way of pricing..
