No matter how good your equipment is, it's impossible to perceive a difference with between 16bit/24bit/32bit audio. That's a scientific fact. Face it. What you're experiencing is placebo, at best.

The reason 32bit DACs found favour was not to do with the signal to noise floor ratio being improved (electronics generally resolve, at best 21bits of audio in good circuit designs,..) but to do with quantanisation errors when converting into sampling rates that are not 'neat multiples'
Eg CDs were 16bit @ 44khz sampling rate.
DVDs were generally sampled at 48khz..
As we went higher it became expensive to implement 176khz sampling rate as well as 192khz sampling rate.. and the market just kinda started lumping everything into fitting 192khz.
Now with 32bit @384khz,.. there is a neat multiplier for each format and we don't have to 'add samples' to smooth out the sound. This was an issue and kind of takes the attack out of a violin or the sharp sound of a cymbal is in a way 'less metallic'.
Not everybody is attuned to hearing this.
Through PC speakers most people see no benefit in going to lossless music files.
There is always theory and reality.
In theory a bee cannot fly,.. (or maybe it is a fly cannot fly)(science says so (for one of them anyway))
Second harmonics of cymbal crashes might be above human hearing range.. but a nice stereo gives presence.
You know you have a nice stereo when there is a sense of 'air' around the instruments.
A poor stereo and every thing just kinda lumps together.
MOST PEOPLE have NEVER HEARD high fidelity sound.
Hence the proliferation of MP3s being perceived as indistinguisable from CDs etc.
And don't give me the bloody double blind test bull... etc..

I bought my V10 because I liked the unique combination of durability, MicroSDHC support, replaceable battery, and (for the H960A model, at least) wide frequency band support. There is no other phone by any manufacturer anywhere that has all these features.
I didn't buy it for the DAC chip. Indeed, I can't hear any difference when it is enabled.

I'm using Galaxy s6 Edge Plus at the moment, so I wont realy upgrade if this V20 won't provide better camera, battery life and good multitasking meaning not killing apps when minimised... And for power banks, I find them extremely not practical. I prefere power case with few thousands mAh to prolongue my phones life... And V10 really had the worst battery life...

So it appears LG is giving up the spec war against Samsung and the likes to focus on audio to distinguish itself from all other smartphones, risky move as there aren't nearly as many audiophiles as LG thinks are out there, so putting a 32-bit "Quad" DAC isn't going to get these new fancy gadgets flying off the shelves now. The only other company taking audio seriously is ZTE.
