Samsung Gear VR (2016) is now available to pre-order

The Samsung Gear VR (2016), which was unveiled alongside the Galaxy Note7 earlier this month, is now available to pre-order. Amazon is currently accepting pre-orders for the device, which sets you back $100 and will start shipping August 19.

I have 2 of the original ones that came with my S7s. They work great. I pre-ordered one of these only because I am upgrading to a Note 7. My kids and wife have the other two. It will definitely be interesting to see if there really is much of a performance difference between it and the original.

    LG superfan, 13 Aug 2016Name a vr headset in that price range which is better than ... moreit takes more than 8/16/32/64 GB of RAM to calculate and sync camera/screen with real world, I know it cos there are 2 to the power 300 atoms in the universe out of which very less is processor grade silicone. I mean there ain't plenty to feed your obsessive dream.
