I have to say this led tv is amazing and it has the latest technology also.

divis200, 15 Aug 2016No, you're weird for calling others weird. Going to cinema ... morePerfect! Or one can opt to a decent VR for a better movie watching experience. Again, through their phone.

Gauron, 15 Aug 2016Who watches movies on their phone? Who says they don't need... moreNo, you're weird for calling others weird. Going to cinema every time there is a movie released is stupid. When it comes to experience, put on some headphones and hold the phone at a comfortable distance to see and you have a perfect movie. If phone screens still strained your eyes I wouldn't reccomend this, but now you can hold your phone at a distance that makes it look bigger than even your tv. Don't call others weird just because they're not like you. If you have time and money to waste, then go to the cinema. Not everyone is like you.

divis200, 13 Aug 2016What are you talking about? Do you know what's the purpose ... moreLol.. Calm down dude!

Imagine some of the following use cases:

-- The speakers starts playing my favourite online radio the moment it starts up. (I am a hard core tune-in user)

-- I leave for office with my phone. And the speaker is still playing the stream for the rest of the family members to enjoy. No dependency on phone of any kind!

Now, is that too much to ask? I am not asking for a full fledged OS experience on a portable speaker but a streamlined approach specific only for streaming online content. Obviously new types of apps only for audio consumptions would arrive e.g. to play podcasts. Dont tell me chromecast audio, since that way I will be managing/charging two different gadgets. Not ideal.

On your bluetooth confusion. Yes it will be a hybrid and will stay bluetooth for obvious reasons.

Android for Speakers is not too far. Mark my words!

ethereal, 13 Aug 2016When will the android based portable bluetooth speakers com... moreWhat are you talking about? Do you know what's the purpose of bluetooth speakers? What you're asking for is nonsense. Phone transmits sound to a bluetooth speaker. Why would you need a whole OS just for sound? If what you want to say is have the speaker work on it's own, that's a really bad idea. Not only your speaker would have a very bad battery life, the speaker price would need to have a good cpu and software. All of that would cause prices do go up by a lot. You said bluetooth speaker running android. Bluetooth would have no meaning then. Do you not have a phone with you? What is your phones purpose? If you really want a bluetooth speaker "running android" then buy a phone and strap it to your bluetooth speaker. Also... is it that hard to stream music to a speaker. Everything's so simple and you still complain. Everything's already too simple. We're all getting really simpleminded because of that. You only press a few buttons. Is that hard?

When will the android based portable bluetooth speakers come out?? I am fed up of streaming everything via my smartphone to my JBLs already!!! Is this too much to ask really??

I am happily using my Samsung KS8000 with HDR while people buying this one will be left out for HDR content. HDR is what makes a whole different.
