Blackberry leads the way, even in the Android space when it comes to security. Blackberry cares about it's customers personal and financial security more than other smartphone manufacturers. The DTEK50 is a great deal for $299.

AnonD-540667, 16 Aug 2016This is a chipset flaw rather than android os vulnerabilitySo that's what you call when a simple driver update requires the manufacturers to recompile a new ROM with code straight from the Android repositories.
I'm not trying to be funny about this being a driver issue with a Qualcomm driver, but you really have to be oblivious to ignore how Android botches things like this by not making it easy to deploy the fixed driver to everyone affected -- you can be sure there will be A LOT of devices that will never get a fixed ROM! Today is Qualcomm, yesterday we had plenty of Mediatek issue and what tomorrow holds is anyone's guess. Though one constant remains botching the process: Android.
Someone has to fix this before anything major happens.

Really, REALLY nice service!
Despite DTEK50 being a rebranded Alcatel Idol 4, the BB supported makes all the difference!
Definitely considering BB in the future.

In today's time,security updates r must.bcoz we do many things Which r related to Money.Banking n online shopping and now Samsung pay n Android pay.
So security updates is Great.and which company giving it fast,It must have in Top 5.
