Android 7.0 Nougat to fine tune Android’s Data Saver

16 August, 2016
Android has had a data saving feature baked into the OS for a while now. The way it works is simple. Set the date that your bill cycle ends, set your warning limit, and then set a hard limit. Android will discontinue the use of cellular data once you hit the pre-specified limit. This would ensure that subscribers don’t hit their data caps by the end of the month and avoid overages. Simple right?

Googe should give us control of battery saver with more options as well.Look at what Samsung did in the last Note and how Sony utilises its stamina modes

Why 2 contradict each other? Even if Naugat is said to be launching in August there are 23 days for Lg to tune the software to its requirement. Unlike samsung which applies a lot of cosmetic, Lg softwares are good and seeing these days OEM manufacturers avoiding much of a consmetics, time frame seems just fine for me.

Good for some people. But it dials down the experience. Also ads will still be there using data.
