When it launched a year ago the 810 was the top processor, so I am not going to complain there. The biggest reason I didn't buy the phone was because of the bending issues associated with the phone. I wanted something with better build quality. I am hoping the 2016 nexus will be the smartphone that takes the cake as I really want to make the switch to google fi.

LG software and marketing are awful, build quality and actual performance are underwhelming so far and theyr "LG friends" price tags havent been helpful and semi-modularity isnt true modularity. Samsung repair, support and after-purchase services are non-existant and putrid to many of those who bought a Samsung phone and sent it to repair without any damage issurance plan and lets not even mention how theyr software is still laggy and chews down on the hardware. HTC is another thing, with low availibity, low marketing investment in uncharted markets and pricy tags for a phone that lost its killer feature which were front facing speakers, makes it a hellish decision. Sony? They stopped trying making phones when theyr "23Megapickles" camera can only shoot at 1080p and after 5 minutes of shooting or taking pictures the camera has to cooldown. Theyr software is laggy just like the others (exept HTC), terrible price tags for so-so specs and awful costumer support just like Samsung. Updates, Security and Lifespan are not priority for all the companies you named (LG and HTC make some cute things if you want that) but the other two, theyr just awful in that. True Android is Google Nexus, no compromises the way i see it. All i stated was true and while theyr not a problem for 100% or even 80% of the people out there, youd be surprised by how many distaste these companies (HTC has my respect yet ofc). Look, i dont expect you to agree with the truth and im not saying im 100% right about every aspect, especially HTC in that regard, but the remainder 3 are really, really off-market right now and on the edge of brand recognition. Theyr phones aint that special to begin with, but to each its own.

There are only 4 real brands for Android:
- Samsung
- SONY
- HTC
- LG
The rest are just junk wannabees that are defended blindly by their clients who didn't had enough money to buy a real brand. Also, most of these phones are sold in China and India where quality is being mistaken with the cheapest price. Just pitiful..
Nexus phones are the best when it comes to software updates but not necessarily the best in hardware.
To stay on the subject, I thought that the Marlin will have SD821, not 820. Kinda disappointed...

Another crappy Nexus phone. If Google can't churn out a phone with topnotch specs why bother. Only a Nexus ideologue with buy such POS as a Nexus phone. Every Nexus phone has fallen short in so many ways that matter. So this POS will have 32gb of storage without microSD support? Really!!!

you can only compare HTC (hardware/software/design) to Apple.
Huawei is a joke brand.
When htc was making smartphone huawei wasn't exist.

Snap 820? I won't pay much for this: most android apps uses apps written in java. This means inefficient AOT compiler producing poorly optimized code, garbage collecting running in the background and wasting precious battery life.
