You may be on to something, only the spec whore Chinese companies are utilizing cheap multi-core chipsets and the only company to get it right is Samsung but even then they'd be better off following in the footsteps of Qualcomm and Apple and just go with a very optimized dual/quad core setup instead.

There will be no FullHD screen, and no 3/32 memory in $105 5" Redmi 4. You should listen to your brain sometimes, not only dreams =)

SD625 is 14nm based. rest of 6xx line is 28nm based.

If things going like this.. Xiaomi can start another lineup which is much more affordable than redmi with SD400 series & 1or2GB ram & call it as "ROSEMi" .....
