So, the story is that microsoft bought nokia devices from nokia(bad times story) and then sold the feature phone division to HMD global which consists of nokia veterans. The remaining feature phone business and Nokia factories were sold to FIH mobile(foxconn subsidiary) by microsoft. So, HMD will use Nokia name and FIH will manufacture phones. So, actually it is nokia reborn as a result of $ex between HMD and FIH. Good times !!!!

So it's a union of HMD -Nokia technologies and Foxconn but the standards of quality will be judged by Nokia. This means that the devices will not only have the Nokia branding but also the quality of Nokia and that is the most important.
                            Welcome back Nokia!

Cmon Nokia get your place back as king and knock off Craapple and Samesung

QHD by next year may be not the top in screen specs. The same goes for average camera, g5, p9, z5, s7 are all different, therefore phone got more value. Sticking to standard wont go well. I hope we can expect something.

AnonD-125829, 18 Aug 2016Nokia.. the name is Enough..! :')Nokia Products Manufactured In China that says all

Well... It's Nokia devices which designed by HMD and manufactured by Foxconn (TLDR not a pure Nokia devices).

But Foxconn is well known OEM who manufacture the famous iPhone. So with a tight QC, we still can hope that these devices will not falter in term of build quality.

Software side, it still need further test by the masses in term of responsiveness, stability, ease of use, etc. But seeing N1 has next to none major complaints, I think it should be good enough.

Design wise, I don't know about others. But N1's design is tightly resembled with iPad. If this time Nokia can't shake off that image, Nokia will fall into iDevice-wannabe category. I hope they do have strong traits to their own design this time.

We'll see when they release them. :3
