Coming to the Soc's of Snapdragon, the Premium performance can be given by 650 +. Down the line, its just mid range and not worth Rs 10,000 INR.
Coming to the MTK, the X series are performance oriented and can provide good competition to the Kirin and Snapdragon's high end chips. However, the premium performance 'P' series chips doesn't have enough capability to compete the premium range of the SD SoC's.
Huawei being a mobile phone manufacturer for quite a long period now. However, the reach is not as like Samsung, LG or even HTC in India. But the price point hits all these renowned brands. Being a manufacturer, having under premium performance SoC's releasing many models with Performance Oriented device prices. Huawei, what do you think? Are you on the track to capture the market or planning to loose the market?
Manufacturers must have a survey to check the loyalty of the customers on their brand name before putting up a price on the market in order to survive for a long period. This will also help to grow the market. But, I don't think that Huawei following these to sustain the market.

So 4K (UHD) capture on the G9 is possible and not on their flagship's like The P9 and the mate 8? Wow amazed.
On second thoughts I'm not amazed cause the Kirin's are notorious for their underwhelming GPU. No 4K capture on Kirin's and you get no QHD screens either.

EMUI is the worst UI I ever used. That's because of its simplicity and hiding of various advanced stuffs. Hopefully we can flash custom ROM in in it as it has snapdragon CPU...
