The Mate 9 has UFS 2.1. But is UFS 2.1 really notably better, or does it barely differenciate in any way?

AnonD-442781, 21 Aug 2016Yeah the iPhone uses their own quirky storage. Its probably... moreIt is quite the same as the UFS 2.0 in the Sammsung phones.
Read: 480MB/s 400MB/s (Samsung Apple)
Write: 140MB/s 160MB/s
Unfortunatly there is no easily available IOPS test for iPhone... How pitty
Anyway the 4K read is 22.5MB/s and the 4K write is 2.2 MB/s for the iPhone 6S, and for the S7 it is 13.5MB/s and 3.8MB/s.

Well storage speed DO matter if you often transfer big files between computer and phone~
And I notice it also affect installation speed.

samsung phones seem to work better with samsung cards. cheap on their part i guess but the cards themselves are genuinely pretty fast. i recommend you test the card read/write speeds with a samsung pro+ 64gb microsd card.

mir, 21 Aug 2016Even the S6 scratches. Any device scratches. Get over it.It's not the matter of scratch or not scratch. It's a matter of quality you were talking about yesterday. Why would anyone buy a phone which scratches easily and triple the price of a regular same specifications phone.
Answer is quality right? Then why not in this?!!!
