AnonD-312515, 24 Aug 2016And Apple doesn't? ROFL! At least Apple gives a rat's a$$ about your device after taking your money. I've owned an S2, Note 2, 3, 4 and Tab S. I still use the latter 3. I know marshmallow is the final update for my Note 4, because Samsung is lazy (my note three has 3Gb of ram and can't handle marshmallow?). Yet instead of giving us what made us like Samsung in the first place, all they're doing now is copying Apple's design. I used apple's first 3 phones before jumping to Samsung and if Samsung is trying to copy Apple then why don't i just switch back to Apple - its my money!

I hope this is really true, I got the lollipop update on my Tab S 8.4 LTE here in my country just last month (OTA) after 1 and half years of waiting for the update.

"may" get marshmallow after all? what kind of answer is that? so is it yes or no? and I thought Nougat was the latest android why are you giving us an outdated version of android.
switching to apple. too many broken promises.

I'm selfish. I just want the notifications to be near the finger that pulls them down, which is a pain in landscape mode for the 8.4. I guess it is worse with the 10.5. Also, hope Sammy fixes the transfer to SD feature. Updates of transferred apps worked fine with Kitkat, but not with Lollipop.
The other features of Marshmallow (besides security fixes) I couldn't care less.

If true, that will be really good change in the post sale process from Samsung, retaining not only the loyalty from satisfied customers, but also from potential ones considering to jump into other brands, again, if it's true, nice movementioned and thanks...I'm a happy owner of a beautiful tab S, hard to change due size, screen and performance...

Having the best hardware with "2 bit" software is really annoying. If i buy an expensive Note 7 today, no update for me after 2018...Thank you and goodbye Samsung, going to Apple. Lazy Samsung, only thinking about money

Samsung Greece as far as i remember was right about predictions. Maybe they do the bad cop good cop thing!
