I played game heavily on it, like DraStic DS emulator, PPSSPP, Titan Quest, until my phone get very hot.
I replaced my Grand Prime battery with brand new $15 samsung original battery on May. Still rockin solid by now.

If they follow the pricing of the previous generation, then this is pure shit. The previous Grand Prime was so bad. Two of my cousins have it, one bought it last year and it is barely usable right now, and she has only Facebook, and Whatsapp installed, other than the pre-installed apps, which are mostly disabled too. The other cousin who had it, bought it in February2016 and its in the service center for faulty battery right now. If you can't buy an A, S, or Note, than don't buy Samsung at all.

LLL, 23 Aug 2016Kinda underwhelming IMOVery true. It is quite nice only in term of more ram. But they downgrade the chipset. Quater HD is nice for long lasting battery. Not that bad considering even a tablet have pretty much the same ppi. I rather put my money on J series (2016). Same price better specs.

If they use Mediatek then it's a downgrade over original Grand Prime.

This is the phone you give your grandparents as a gift. They will like it (large screen, huge pixelated font allows them to look at hours without reading glasses), and won't realize it's barely a smartphone.
Samsung naming scheme is hilarious. A layperson would believe a "Galaxy Grand Prime" to be a premium smartphone when compared to a "Galaxy S7".
