Downloading update now ( Romania \ Nokia 930 ).
You do not need any update advisor from store, just go to "check for updates" in the settings of your phone and there you will find it.

i'm using windows unlocked AT&T 1520 in India. which is came with windows 8. since long time I am trying to update my phone with w8.1 or w10 but I can't. Can I update my phone with this time? plz I need information towards this

No longer use Microsoft smartphone. Shifted to Samsung as no update for W10 receive in Malaysia. Furthermore, the after sales service is getting worst as no replacement battery available for the past 6-8 months for Lumia 1520. Many service centre are closed after Microsoft took-over. I believe maybe they want to down-size. Have use the smartphone for the past 3 years, not interested to use Microsoft anymore. Thank you.

In Lumia 1020 widows 10 give many problems like battery timing is down sped is slow and no copy paste option is work from sms to browser and other more problems......

I've played extensively with Windows 8 devices as well as Mango. I'm currently on a M8 and it is extremely satisfactory, so I'm looking for a spare, preferably ex-flagship in $200 range which is on the latest, greatest version of Windows or I might just buy a G4 if no such thing exists in the WM lineup. I definitely won't buy 5s in the same range, mostly because I know that iOS10 will most definitely cripple the 5 and 5c and even probably 5s. iOS9 crippled my 4s. I had to uninstall every app as well get rid of animations and transparency to make it work. Plus after a few days the AppStore stopped loading completely.

Dunno, what extra bugs, this dumb update brings.
Since I updated to Windows 10, I have been facing too many problems.
Disabling Gestures is a stupid thing to do.
Edge seems to refresh the tab each time you come back in.
The keyboard isn't keeping up to typing fast, esp the space button, never works.

People are stupid because they want a functional device? Microsoft maps are great and not everyone uses PayPal. The OS is simple and functional, something Android lacks.

best UI and truly... morena matey its not for really smart people, its for everyone that doesnt use alot of apps and its a easy interface and a exellent one to use but no here maps, no google maps which is better than microsofts maps, its a lack of paypal, my bank app my wireless pay app even though competitors have had it a year now, its pokimon that alot of people of all ages plsy, its the gestures that windows no longer has on mobile, its the stagering amount of games people play ythat you wont find on windows store and its the netflix app you can cast on android to the tv but cant cast to on a windows mobile.
not all apps on android are better but if you use your phone like me which is a podcaster, a mulktimedia device, recipies in the kichen movies or you tube casts in the bath or a bit of everything in the wc or going pokimoni society at the same time its popular then windows 10 is a bad idea. i love windows 8.1 and i like windows 10 mobile i still think its the beter ui and os and it works grerat but the app gap and terribly slow pace of microsoft to bring needed featyures along with the constant reboots has hurt the platform alot and its not one i can sadly recomentd. strangelyin 2014 with my 8.1 lumia 930 it was easy to recomend but the app cgap is biger now and the once reliable metro tube and tube cast break weekly.

ive used windows phone for 2 years, before that iphones for 6 year and now because paypal left and here maps, paypal being the last straw i have bought a s7 edge, i love the s7 edge handset, its great and i think the touch wiz is good too but after having this phone for 3 weeks windows mobile is by far my favorite os, yes it needs google maps with street views, yes you tube is needed too, and yes it is leaking apps but if apps was not the issue i could see alot of people moving to windows mobile. but when windows 8.1 gestures disapeared from windows 10 and i can download a android app for that you see where the real issue in windows 10 is, its not the ui, that is superior to my android experience, notifications runle on windows mobile, live tiles rule on windows mobile what doesnt is microsofts slow snail pace to intergrate skype, and they did it poorly, though on mobilee it is ok, its the gestures we no loger have on windows 10 cause microsoft cant be bothered to bring it after over 1 year so holding the phone away from head brings up speakerphone lol, its the apps that are leaving windows store because no one bought a crapy plastic flagship 950 and who could blame them, its also screwing over your entire onedrive customerbase and then using bad excuses. i hope they can course correct this but truth is its never been a issue with windows 7, 8, or 10 its microsofts slow pace to introduce nesecary features. see you later off to get a cofee and pay by my working wireless android and samsun pay app lol.
