With that being said, I don't think it matters that they are made in China now. Even if they would still make it in Finland, at this point the outcome would probably be the same. Hopefully they are cutting the corners to deliver decent device at the competitive price. We'll just have to wait and see.

Apple and all android phones are a joke compared to ...say nokia N8 quality. Now the thing is that finish company was sold to Microsoft and this new nokia will be made in china.

Not saying China makes bad quality products. Its just that when you have used Nokia Symbian phones, you feel like these new phones are lacking. My last nokia phone was nokia 701 (touchscreen phone). It came out perfectly fine after 10+ meter fall.

The past does not dictate the future, Past is already past, a History, But the present will determined the outcome of the current action. Lets wait for this brand to take it chance. Who knows, we might be in for some surprises. Peace out.

At that time, Nokia made a good decision. Android was under litigation, Windows Phone was a promising platform, Nokia needed money, and Microsoft offered them money.
But both Nokia and Microsoft sucks at marketing. 2 x sucks = suckier. The rest is history.

Nokia knew that they couldnt compete on the same OS with everyone else, so they have chosen a different path to avoid direct competition at all costs.
Selling an inferior, overpriced and absolete device that candirectly compared a similar device would totally annihilate them!
For example it took them one year to implement touchscreens, imagine entering the highly competitive arena we have now, they would go bankrupt in a matter of months.
If they return in the mobile arena with Android, it will be their final stroke, they better make phones with keyboards and proprietary OS of old people who cant handle touchscreens and use whatever brand nostalgia is left on them.
