Only people that dont know tech, definition of ram and dont know how android software works will state otherwise.
For current tech even 4 gb is at least 1gb of never used tech.
People are dummies, numbers are there to impress only dummies.

NO, XZ and X compact are both 3gb of ram. trust me,4gb of xperia will come in the next year.

Damn Sony. I have always been a fan of Sony cells. Sony being leader in compact phones , new compact should not have been made less than 4.75'' of screen , 126-128mm overall height & min 3000 battery. I have Z1 C, Z3 C, and found no reason to buy the silly Z5 C & think the same about this XC !!

edge and zero bazel phones is just useless .. sony design is unique and don't copy like others. you can get your copy phones from xiaomi or huawei and htc but don't say anything about sony . just get your copy and enjoy them. sony is not a phone for every one and regular user this is a awesome phone for awesome people. you can go for copying xiaomi phones and use copy ui they are good and fun but not for a sony user. a xperia user don t give any pleasure with cartoony or iOS-like user interface. they like its ui because its simple and balanced design that make a link between both hardware and software design.

We are unable to understand, oh WHY?!?
Ditch those 23/13 mpx camera modules, put a camera bump on the back, and dich that extra front stereo speaker and also put a smaller mah battery to save some space, we dont need all that extra tech crap....
Why cant you make a mediocre compact just like all others?!?
We just need smaller bezels!!
