If sony can find a way to cram a 4k screen in a mobile phone, it sure can allocate a 1080p panel in this 4.6 inch form factor for better sharpness and detail. If 720p is repeated again then it would a whole another level of disappointment.

I got a cancer from XR's looks alone, no thank you. And I'm pretty sure that both devices could have bigger screens without making the physical measures bigger, if other manufacturers can do that - even Sony should be able to do it. Or not, not looking promising so far.

Gsmarena! Take us to IFA please! We'll be quiet! *wink wink* and also, can you please review honor 8 and honor note 8 please? Or just make a blog about all the upcoming phablets including lenovo phab series and zenphone ultra, mi max etc. Damn guys, I really would like the battery to be bigger in Sony phones irrespective to qnova software analyzer/optimizer. Sony has a lot of technologies that are just software optimizations like those audio technologies clear phaze clear bass etc.
Also, bezels are really big don't get me wrong I am saving money for a super nice successor of xa ultra but this is the last chance I give them. Otherwise I'll have to go with some other brand. That honor 8 is literally the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. And I've seen Elisha Cuthbert.

Given Sony, Samsung, LG and HTC....
Apparently Samsung is the worst in terms of quality and Android updates.
Failed scratch test, performance lost to iPhone 6s, poor slow updates, the laggest Touchwiz bloated noobish UI, soft poor mono tone speaker
Give me a free Note 7? Nope, I will dump it to my toilet bowl.
Give me a free HTC 10, LG V20 or Sony XR? Nope too because I will buy it despite costing $1000 as it worth every penny spent.
