Good going BB.. Well done, coming from an i phone and Moto, I dont repent my decision. Excellent fine tuning in the software over months. People get themselves lost in hardware race, what they don't understand is the unique feature of the Priv, software tweaks and the key board and obviously beautiful curved screen amoled display. Try to educate people BB, please learn some marketing from Samsung !!!

They are on pace for 2 million devices sold this year. They needed to sell 5 million to stay profitable.

There are four pillars of BlackBerry: Hardware, BES, BBM, and QNX. Three of those pillars have collapsed since Chen took over. BES died the moment Chen came out in favor of backdoors for encryption. Department of State will migrate their entire ecosystem to iPhones by the end of next fiscal year. The reason? Potential for backdoors. Chen might be pro-American at this point, but maybe the next CEO sells the keys to the highest bidder. No reason to take that chance.

BlackBerry will survive on QNX in vehicles and medical devices. 60% of all new cars sold are powered by a BlackBerry operating system, that is a FACT. But their days in the handset arena are over.

The only contender would be Google Nexus, but BB also has their own (and well established) enterprise services that would sway away any business considering an Android.

So far, they have been doing a brilliant job with those security updates, it just remains to be seen how long will their support last.

Blackberry is failure. Nobody want this one. Xiaomi and Oppo where it better. China make the best phone. Faster and more better. Blackberry junk! Good!

Little overpriced, hard to buy in some EU countries. They are on some odd shops, mobile operators sell a very short time and only in the business tariff - Samsung S6/7, Sony Z5, LG G4/5, iPhone 6/6S - no problem if you wanan buy it. BlackBerry Priv... trouble, lack of marketing.

                  Interesting!
For those of us NOT getting the updates OTA, note this page on BBs own site, with the latest official autoloaders available for various variants. This includes the August updates with the Quadrooter patches.
                  http://ca.blackberry.com/support/smartphones/Android-OS-Reload.html
                  e.g. AAG153 for AT&T
(And YES autoloaders will wipe your phone, so be sure you have a good backup)
