Apple makes a recipe but can't cook their own food with it. They are pop star who can't play an instrument or write their own music. Self-reliance. Learn it, Apple. All I see is a marketing / software team with patent troll lawyers and a company only to please their shareholders.
I wish Apple makes iPhones in the USA. The one country keeping them afloat while they lose badly to Samsung and Android everywhere else. Samsung built the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. They make their own tanks. They can build a phone completely in-house. A real chef to their kitchen. Apple can't do anything like that.
Samsung's fingerprints are everywhere in everything we use while Apple just brands what Foxconn makes them. Apple has all that resources but relies on cheap Asian labor to make billions just like what Nike does. For once, I want to see Apple manufacture every component inside/out from display, camera, SoC, DRAM, and storage. By relying on others, they get setback a few years. Software is correctable over time. Not hardware.

I'm an android fan and I only use android phones - but you gotta admit it guys, there is always something special about a new iPhone reveal. Especially as Cupertino finally starts catching up to Mountain View in terms of software. Looking forward to this!

In my opinion Iphone is very close to Futurama Eyephone and the buyers are like Fry- "shup up and take my money". Todays mobile users are like zombies.. They buy any newer, expensive phones, but many of them don't even use 50% of phones all functions. For me I got a Blackberry for sms and Nokia E52 for calls. Blackberry has whats app and those two is all I need and I can't imagine now or in future buying an expensive android or ios product. So, people please think do You really need to pay big money not for using all phones functions?

Note7 can't beat 6s at opening apps. 6s can't beat Note7 in nearly everything else. I doubt most of us open apps in succession like that. You lose 1 minute with Note7. I lose 5-10 minutes everytime I want to sync to iTunes before it crashes on 90% of computers. You can have your winner at RAM memory management. I want my micro-sd slot, VR, HDR 2K display, S-Pen, strong shatterproof glass front, and better design.
Non-removable battery is the most important planned obsolescence component. Lacking micro-sd slot and a physical home button which we have to press 100x per day because iOS lacks a back button are other ways for you to upgrade as frequently as Apple wants you. PLANNED OBSOLESCENCE has always been the name of the game that consumers lose to companies with their pocket.

even candy crush lagged on my galaxy s7 edge... though features on the Samsung far exceed the iphone, there's no question that iphones boast the optimum mix of hardware and software. hands down...

I is a bottom up response not a top down which would show the non existing "sharing" capabilities of the iPhone.
So let's assume everybody Android is jealous, can't afford an iPhone, and has a slower phone
That is us, the industry is wise to Apple and all you have to do is see the amount of new phones released around September just to get the 'disenfranchised' Apple supporter who will be asked to buy a minor tweaked upgrade.
So those who still believe they will be recieving the best phone ever will queue up days before just to get another iteration that doesn't have memory expansion

Samsung charges 1200 dollars for a note 7 with 4gbs of ram but slower then the iphone se at 2gb of ram. There is your "Spec" right there.

Its ashame that you pay $900 to $1k, and you get only 2 or 3gb of ram? 720 resolution? dual core? oh come on! please give us the updated specs based what we paid for, don't educate me regards with the optimization apple fans, but the price what we paid for. Its a flagship and we pay a huge amount of price for a decent specs. if you cant increase the specs that what we should pay for, just lower the price.
