Motorola milestone 2 is going to be world wide available, and i hope moto droid x too . European moto is available all over europe except Croatia. Most of units are sold in Austria , France, Germany and UK. More other manufacturers sell their units all over Europe but not in Croatia too, why is that i guess u know.

Core, 26 Oct 2010They used google translate english or japanese to bosniana... moreOkay. Go to the Droid X page on GSMArena and read the comments there. or Google it. You will find more links, people are talking about it, not just over here. WHY would it be a hoax when Droid X and Milestone 2 aren't, and probably won't ever be available in Croatia (Droid X isn't GSM, for starters)? You know Motorola is deserting Europe? And it's not "ubedljivo" (Serbian) but "ubjedljivo" which is admittedly Bosnian, sometimes used in Croatia as well, but what's the difference between the two languages? Really? Like English and American, haha.

They used google translate english or japanese to bosniana because "ubedljivo" isn't croatian word and why they didn't put link to the site where they copyed the pic , because they did suspect the info is a hoax so they covered their selfs with pick that u can make in photoshop.

Core, 25 Oct 2010About comment of MdN i would say this is a hoax because ... moreThe people on Mobil simply found that info on foreign forums. It's the biggest Croatian cell phone site and you can see the photo and use Google Translate to read it. It's not really important to me, just thought people might be interested.

You can never stop idiots being idiots; remember those good old flash lite app which turns on ur phone LED and make it shine your road? It burns prob 50% of the phones' LED flashlight in a few sec.

This is exactly the same no-brainer app.

It sounds good looks good and it's cool to tell the chicks your droid runs faster than the other guys' droid.

I would rather using this application to downclock my processor in order to increase my battery life. :-)

Even in pc when we overclocked our processor, we need a better heatsink fan. But a smartphone does not have such fan. So my opinion is its too risky for smartphone. More over if you burn your pc processor you can replace it with a new processor, you dont need to replace your whole pc. But if your phone processor crashed your smartphone will become a brick.

About comment of MdN i would say this is a hoax because cpu of 1 ghz u can't overcloce 300% to work or even 240% to work properly. Then u see the word that isn't croatian and u know there is something fishy.

Just mostly for "bragging rights" for geeks.

A lot of people have submitted their Quadrant results for their overclocked Droid X here:

                          http://smartphonebenchmarks.com

Although some claim 2GHz is possible, I don't believe it. It hasn't shown up on the above site either.

Why would u overclock the CPU of an OS that already consumes more than 25% more power than other OS's? LOL...

Clocked at 1.35ghz max, 400 min, using Low voltage, Quadrant score 1764, running at 87degrees F, and seen it to 94 running psxdroid final fantasy 7 even quicker without any sound skips. Stress test for 2 hours on Setcpu without any errors... still testing but definitely nice app.

We aren't talking about PC desktops here, OC is absolutely useless on smartphones and the negatives are:

                                - lowering life of the phone's chipsets as a whole (extreme overheating can damage these small devices eventually)

                                - If the process went wrong the phone wont hang like PC desktops but It'll die unexpectedly (meaning it will no longer powerup!)

                                - battery usage will be high (drains much faster)

                                - the battery as a power source for these small devices can get corrupted and will need to be changed frequently.

so ask yourself, does it worth the hassle?

Running my rooted Droid 1 at 1200 MHz, on demand scaling, custom settings for low battery and high temperature. My battery (with a low voltage kernel) lasts just as long as it did with stock 2.1 installed.

On a rooted droid, you can usually select a custom voltage for free. Then use SetCPU for overclocking, it does it better, and is safer.
