This is the graphic description of "Generic" in the mobile world. Also it demostrates the chinese mobile ingineers have no imagination at all.

The design language is very Chinese. It kinda reminds me of Huawei, ZTE and Xiaomi.

I always liked Lenovo and it's fine that they are using low-end CPUs, GPUs or chipsets but they should not forget that Motorola is one of the legends in mobile industry, they should start using the name as it was before and not like a secondhand brand to the main brand Lenovo

damn it lenovo ....you are ruining the moto brand
moto was always about practicality but with z series they went after looks and design
the curved back was a good thing although it made phone a little thicker but it could fit into the natural curve of palms now they have started making it flat
in moto e they have given mediatek chipset in place of a qualcomm
and now this iphone like design language they are bringing with this new device
I am a big fan of moto but the way lenovo is running things i don't think i will buy a moto phone ever again

As if it wasn't enough that all moto phones now look like samsung, we are now subject to a torrent of superficial variants of the same old phone: E, E power, G play, G, G plus, Z play, Z, Z force; and hell maybe add M and X too. That's 11 in a single year, and counting.
That's almost as many as motorola released in 2013-2015: 2 E's; 4 G's; 5 X's; maxx; nexus.

Looks very ugly especially the camera module. Having Mediatek soc is very bad decision when all other specs look good on paper.

This particular Moto leak vibes more like Lenovo's Vibe line. Much reverb is tensing under the same company

motorola isn't with a goal, lenovo is transforming motorola in a lenovo-secundary-brand releasing lots of phones per year. with google motorola had simply Moto X, G and E, plus some verizon-only smartphones.
now it's getting out of control

The design as seen in pics is nowhere close to any Moto line.
And if pics are true than Lenovo has surely damaged the Motorola family of phones.

Looks bulky. Hope it's slim like one plus and doesn't heat up like moto G4. Motorola makes good phones.these days Moto is heavily experimenting with their design. Good for them.
