Once you have downloaded the update from asus website, you just need to restart your device and it will prompt you saying "system update file detected" just click on it andthe update will start. it will take around 10-15 minutes to complete.

Asus Padfone S users like me are still waiting for the update which was promised at same time with several other phones including Zenphone 2. Now for our phone it is more than 5 months late :(

Its here but it does have a few major things wrong with it. To be expected that asus would do a half assed attempt at it. To put the icing on the cake they also made us manually install it ourselves. These guys are s joke, has any other smartphone maker made their flagship owners do this? Its like have your engine replaced under warranty and then the shop calls up and says, hey we got your engine but you have to put it in.

This report is late. My mother's ZE551KL got the marshmallow update back in early July. At least your Asus phones got the update, my oneplus X is still stuck on lollipop.

You know, I plan on getting the ZTE Axon 7 because Asus isn't so good to depend on for quality, but I won't make my way around the marshmallow update. I'm having fun with custom ROMs, and I just might stay with them.

Guys neede step by step installation instructions as OTA update notification is not coming. I have downloaded the update manually from asus portal.

Oh, Asus has released an update ! I don't care because I sold my zenfone 2 five months ago because of bad support. I have an Asus tablet which came with android 4.4 and is forever stuck on it. ASUS = No Update
