Dear HTC please bring back the IR blasterto your devices, I love everything about the HTC 10 but skipped on it due to not having one and got an Honor 8 instead, though I still miss HIFi audio from my M8 :(

I know HTC has higher profit margins but could have easily put a 1080p panel at 5.5 inches with the expected price of this phone.. I think this is meant to be a low-end phone. so yeah.

I am ok with HD resolution, for a cheap device, it's just fine... But SD400 in 2016???
I don't se any reason why should someone buy it. Even if it cost less than 100$.

htc should take break, like nokia did. rethink strategies and come back strong again. for now, its only money out of the window, for the company.

They must either have a huge stockpile of sd400 left over from yesteryears and cannot find another way of getting rid of them or they've managed to source them from somewhere very cheaply.

If they reduce their huge profit to some extent, no one can come closer to their price plus the value they'll be giving with their product but still isheeps and Sammy fanboys wont buy it because "thats Sony and we hate it no matter what".
And also, you are right about Xiaomi, they are set to be the number 1 smartphone seller in coming year may be but Xiaomi's focus is price that is why they are able to penetrate the market and getting attention of regular customers who are more interested to knowing the price first than brand.

Some of you guys say the dumbest things on here. Forever moaning and most of you don't even like HTC so you waste your time even commenting about them, so so sad.
Not everyone wants to pay £500 plus for a phone, so they will have to be a compromise somewhere.
Get up the good work HTC, the Desire 10 range looks like a winner.

IF COMPANIES LIKE SONY HAVE LO... moreprobably cuz well stablished companies have to pay more R&D and more marketing and not to mention the salaries of everyone involved besides just the brand (that per se raises the value of anything)... as u can see, there's a lot to think about any company for real, now the "newcomers" are able to aquire and assemble the phones at lower costs (and also lower profit) but at first they're not as reliable or "on the people's mind" so they need to stablish first, think if xiaomi is at the top, their phones will cost a lot compare to todays cost, so enjoy while it's cheap or just stay with the trusted brand, trust me, either is fine if u accept the pros and cons

SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME THIS. IF COMPANIES LIKE SONY HAVE LOTS OF MONEY TO SPARE AND PLACES ALREADY CONQUERED, WHY ARE THE PHONES FROM NEW COMPANIES like xiaomi cheaper? I mean they shouldn't be able to cope up with low profits Because they are new. And if people buy phones looking at specs and performance and value for money, then why wouldn't Sony make phones that provide everything for a price that's lesser than anyone else's for the same specs? Okay I know brand name and built quality but I've noticed while owning z ultra and z5 premium that sadly xiaomi note 3 (which I used to hate for not being exclusive )is perfect tbh for the price. Sony, could make that. If they wanted. So why not!?
