Apple will remove outdated and broken apps from the App Store

Not an iPhone user, and probably will never be. OS is too limited for me.
I just hope that Google won't follow suit. I understand for broken and/or spam apps, but outdated apps can be good. For example, i'm using some dictionary apps for my language studies. They don't need to be updated regularly. Hell, my main app was updated in January, and not since...
Oh well, on android we have the option of using .apk files and side-loading them. I remember the day when i borrowed an iPod for my trip (certainly wasn't planning on bringing my phone...), plugged it and just copied music. It was then that i learned about iTunes, and i despised it ever since... It made a simple proccess that takes around 3-4 minutes into an 30+ minutes proccess (first time ever doing that and had to google a lot of stuff... Still, they complicate the simplest of stuff...)...

But why??? They haven't reached 1000000000000000 apps yet. Without these apps, people won't download and try installing them. Then we won't reach 10000000000000000000 downloads.

Glad Android can sideload. Sure it has security issues, but only if you don't check your sources. I have had many times when an update to an app has either put more ads in it, changed the UI to look "more Google" but in reality messes everything up, or in some cases, just not work.
Luckily installing previous versions of apps have saved the day.

You can save your app data via iTunes backup and even if they remove it from the App Store, you will still have it on the devices synched with that iTunes... And Google should do thia too... Play Store is filled with apps that do not function properly even on older devices...

In Android, you can sideload the .apk files and you can back them up (for example burning them to DVD) and you will own them forever and you can reinstall them anytime in the future on any device. You don't need Google account, nor internet connection to do it.
If you're an Apple user, what you can do is determined by Apple.

Even if an app is broken on newer devices, it still works perfectly on older devices, so those users still can use it.
If an app is outdated, it does not mean that it is broken. (If it's "outdated" it means it wasn't updated for a long time, but it does not mean that it won't work. For examle it wasn't updated, because all the bugs have been fixed.)
