Alcatel Vision VR headset hands-on

02 September 2016
This is more of a heads-on than a hands-on, but you get the idea. Alcatel is officially in the VR headset business with the Vision. It's a complete, all-in-one VR solution with an attractive design.

Alcatel - delivering random products nobody wants, crippled randomly too, for unreasonable price that nobody understands since (at least) 1997.

AnonD-551566, 02 Sep 2016i've never used a VR headset and i'm planning on buying one... moreIts pretty average if you are using a Cardboard VR But you'll get a basic idea.I think you should try it first(Its pretty cheap). It is awesome even in these early stages. You can get 10-15 minutes of VR depending on your smartphone. In that time phone will get Really hot(not an exaggeration). If you want good, long VR experience go for an VIVE or RIFT and a expensive PC to power it or wait for Daydream VR for OK VR at OK price

i've never used a VR headset and i'm planning on buying one so i dunno what to expect, this one looks cool but i'd like that GSMA adds a little comparison at the end (kinda like in the revies of phones) just to get an idea, my humble opinion ^_^

i think they might do a little comparison the same way they do with the phones (at the end of the revies/hands on... i've never used a VR headset so i dunno what to expect (thinking about buying one) so i can't easily compare just with the text and the display... it's good info but it can be complemented with a little comparison just my humble opinion ^_^

You could consider if this should be called a VR-helmet rather than an VR-headset...

...And I do wonder why they did not include a pair if good headphones in the design, when going for this all-head design anyway.
